The latest Modee Smart Lighting A3-Series LED floodlights with motion sensor have arrived, providing efficient illumination for homes, courtyards, garage entrances, storage buildings, terraces and other outdoor areas with a modern design, energy-saving operation and reliable outdoor performance.

The Modee Smart Lighting floodlight range represents premium quality on the market. Even with low energy consumption, these lights provide a high luminous flux, contributing to economical and long-term cost-effective lighting with outstanding light efficiency.

The new A3-Series floodlights offer an even higher luminous flux, making them more efficient and more economical compared to the previous generation.

This A3-Series model has a power output of 20 Watts and is capable of producing a luminous flux of 2000 lumens. The 100 lumen/Watt light efficiency ensures energy-saving operation while providing powerful brightness for illuminating medium-sized and larger outdoor areas.

The floodlight operates from an AC 220–240V mains voltage, so it can reliably handle minor power fluctuations. The 120° beam angle enables wide light distribution, making it an ideal choice for illuminating garage doors, entrances, gardens, courtyards, outbuildings, terraces and storage environments.

The product has an IP54 protection rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and splashing water, making it suitable for outdoor use. However, it is important to note that IP54 protection does not provide protection against strong water jets or full immersion in water.

The durable aluminium housing ensures proper heat dissipation, which contributes to the long service life of the LED chips. The expected lifespan of the floodlight can be up to 25,000 hours, making it a reliable long-term solution.

The 15 cm long connection cable allows for easier and more convenient installation, while the compact design makes mounting on various outdoor surfaces simpler.

Motion sensor

The floodlight is equipped with a built-in motion sensor that automatically switches on the lighting when movement is detected within the detection range. This is especially practical at entrances, gates, courtyards, garages, terraces or other outdoor areas where automatic, energy-saving and safe lighting is important.

For optimal sensor operation, it is recommended to install the floodlight at a mounting height of 1.8–2.5 metres. At this height, the sensor can cover an approximate detection distance of 4–10 metres, depending on the settings and environmental conditions. Proper installation height and direction help the sensor detect movement accurately while avoiding unnecessary activations.

By using the sensor, the floodlight only operates when it is actually needed, allowing energy consumption to be reduced even further. Motion sensor operation provides more convenient use, increases the feeling of security and helps prevent the lighting from being left on unnecessarily.

The product is suitable for long-term, repeated switching on and off, so motion sensor operation does not negatively affect the lifespan of the floodlight.

Switches and adjustment options

The floodlight sensor features separate adjustment switches, allowing the operation to be precisely adapted to the specific place of use.

SENS – detection distance adjustment:
The SENS switch allows the detection distance to be adjusted. The adjustment range is approximately 4–10 metres, so you can decide whether the floodlight should detect movement in a smaller area or from a greater distance.

TIME – lighting duration adjustment:
The TIME switch allows you to set how long the floodlight remains switched on after motion has been detected. The adjustment range extends from approximately 10 seconds to 10 minutes, making it easy to customize for short pass-through areas as well as places requiring longer illumination.

LUX – light sensitivity adjustment:
The LUX switch determines under which ambient light conditions the floodlight should switch on. The adjustment range is approximately 3–2000 lux, so the lamp can be set to activate only in darkness, at dusk or even in brighter environments.

Thanks to these settings, the Modee A3-Series motion sensor floodlight can be precisely adapted to the usage environment, whether it is used as security lighting, a courtyard light source or energy-saving outdoor illumination.

Colour temperature and light quality

This version is available in a 4000 Kelvin neutral white light design. Neutral white light provides natural-looking illumination, making it well suited for entrances, courtyards, garages, terraces and work areas.

The product is also available in a 6000 Kelvin cool white version, which provides a stronger and more contrast-rich lighting effect.
