The Filament technology is a fresh innovation in the field of LED lighting. Unlike SMD technology, the LEDs are connected in series on a transparent wire, which means the LED “filaments” do not emit point light. This results in a much higher efficiency compared to SMD lamps, and thanks to the direct connection with the LED chips, the product is more stable and less prone to failure.
