Modee SMD LED products usually feature an aluminum interior and a plastic exterior.

Without a sufficiently thick aluminum layer, the bulb cannot dissipate heat properly, exposing the LED chips to constant high temperatures, which causes them to gradually lose brightness. Compared to traditional bulbs, a variety of color temperatures and shapes are now available. The MR16, also known as the pin-based or bi-pin spot lamp, is suitable for replacing halogen spot lamps. They provide directional light, commonly used in gypsum-board ceiling spot installations, but also in places requiring low-voltage lighting such as cabinet, picture, or mirror lighting, damp or wet locations, bathroom fixtures, or pond/pool lighting.

Significant energy savings can be achieved by replacing halogen spots, but when choosing the power supply it is important to note that GU5.3 halogen lamps use 12 V AC, while GU5.3 LED bulbs require 12 V AC/DC.

Its consumption is 5 W, producing 450 lumens of output over a 100° beam angle.
