The new Wi-Fi enabled smart power strips from Modee have arrived!

Among the series is the 1-way smart socket, which can be a useful accessory in any home. The device can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet, which connects to the socket using Wi-Fi. All you need to do is download the “Tuya Smart” application from Google Play or the App Store using the QR code on the product packaging, register, and you can start controlling this incredibly useful power strip.

But what makes it so smart?

With the help of the application, this handy little device can also be controlled remotely.

It is no problem if you want to turn a device on or off while you are not at home, as the timer function allows you to schedule the socket’s operation down to the minute. For example, the power strip can turn on the air conditioning half an hour before you get home, so you can arrive to a cool apartment.

If you have multiple Tuya smart power strips, you can control them simultaneously via the app. All you need to do is create a group in the application, select the smart sockets you want to manage together, and move them into this shared group.

You can also share the use of the device with family members or friends, allowing several people to control this useful socket at the same time.

The Tuya application also has a built-in voice control feature, allowing you to control the smart socket simply with your voice, without even having to pick up your phone.

Technical features:
The Modee Smart Socket operates with 16A current, has a maximum load of 3680W, and easily handles 220–240V voltage fluctuations. Its length is 81.6 mm, width and height 55 mm.

It works perfectly at up to 80% humidity, between -10°C and +40°C. Its use is maximally safe as it is also equipped with child protection.

Pairing process:

1. Connect the power strip to the socket.

2. Open the application, log in to your account, and press the “Add Device” button. Select the “Electrician” option and the “Power Strip (BLE+Wi-Fi)” product. Choose whether you want to connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

3. Select the Wi-Fi network, tap “Next,” and wait until the “Add Device” process completes.

4. On the home screen, you will find the paired product under the “All Devices” tab.

Wi-Fi must be enabled on your phone for the above operation and for further control of the device.
