SPARTUS Ultra VX27 is a specialized helmet designed for laser welding, cleaning, and cutting, engineered for maximum user protection. It is not only an auto-darkening filter protecting eyesight – it is a comprehensive face protection system which, thanks to a special coating, also effectively shields against reflected and scattered laser radiation. The active filter provides protection in the 1000–1100 nm range at D LB7 + IR LB8, and the external coating complements it with the class 1000–1100 DIR LB8. The helmet is adapted for operation with class 4 lasers and meets the requirements of EN 207:2017 and EN ISO 16321. Combined with the Ultra X air-supply system, it forms a complete set protecting the eyes, face, and respiratory tract, tailored to the demands of industrial environments.

EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION

Thanks to optical class 1/1/1/2 and a 1/25,000-second response time, the auto-darkening filter in SPARTUS Ultra VX27 provides excellent visibility and instant darkening upon arc detection. Shading can be adjusted in two ranges: DIN 4–8 and DIN 8–12, allowing precise tuning to the laser beam intensity and the type of work. In standby, the filter remains exceptionally bright – the DIN 2 level provides great visibility of the surroundings and details without removing the helmet, which greatly facilitates workstation preparation and work between subsequent welds.

ADVANCED OPERATING MODES AND FULL CONTROL

The helmet offers three operating modes – GRIND, MIX and DARK – which make it easy to adapt to different tasks. MIX mode minimizes eye fatigue during spot welding and high-power laser work by smoothly transitioning through intermediate darkening levels. The user can also freely adjust sensor sensitivity and the lightening delay to achieve maximum comfort and safety.

USER COMFORT AND ERGONOMIC DESIGN

Ultra VX27 offers not only safety but also everyday comfort. Thanks to its lightweight construction and fully adjustable headgear, the helmet fits the user’s head perfectly. Viewing angle adjustment, the distance of the filter from the face, and secure mounting ensure the equipment performs ideally even during long-term use.

ULTRA X AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM - RELIABLE RESPIRATORY PROTECTION

The integrated Ultra X PAPR system effectively filters air from dust and harmful aerosols, maintaining a constant stream of clean air in the breathing zone. The user can choose between two flow levels – standard 170 l/min and increased 210 l/min – which allows the airflow intensity to be adjusted to process conditions. The lithium-ion battery ensures long operation on a single charge (up to 9h) and fast recharging. Visual, audible, and vibration alerts warn when the filter needs replacing or the battery needs recharging. A 99.997% efficiency filter removes nearly all contaminants, and simple maintenance helps keep the system operationally ready.

For the air-supply system working with the SPARTUS Ultra VX27 helmet, you can additionally use A2 gas filters and ABEK1, which effectively enhance protection in environments with organic vapors and hazardous gases. To fully leverage their capabilities and ensure uninterrupted work in demanding conditions, it is recommended to use a higher-capacity battery.
