SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse
– mobile Dual Pulse technology and industrial capabilities powered by 230V

spartus xpro mig 260 dual pulse

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is a modern inverter welding machine designed for users who expect advanced welding functions, high weld quality and maximum mobility. Thanks to its single-phase 230V power supply, the unit can operate virtually anywhere a standard mains socket is available, while maintaining performance parameters typical of much larger workshop and industrial machines.

Maximum welding current of 250A for MIG/TIG and 220A for MMA provides the power required for daily workshop, installation and service work. Compact design, high efficiency and the ability to work with large wire spools make SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse the perfect combination of 230V mobility with the comfort and performance characteristic of larger welding machines.

The machine supports MIG/MAG in manual, synergic, Pulse and Dual Pulse modes, as well as TIG Lift and MMA. This makes it suitable both for conventional welding of structural steel and for more demanding applications involving stainless steel or aluminium, where arc energy control, reduced distortion and high weld aesthetics are essential.

MIG/MAG welding – greater control, higher weld quality

The key working area of SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is its advanced MIG/MAG process, designed for stable arc performance, fast configuration and high repeatability of results. The operator can work in manual mode, providing full freedom of settings, or use synergic programs that automatically select parameters according to material type, wire diameter and shielding gas.

The key advantage of the machine is the ability to work in Pulse and Dual Pulse modes. Pulse technology allows precise control of the amount of energy introduced into the material, resulting in a more stable arc, reduced spatter and better control of the weld pool. Dual Pulse additionally enables the characteristic aesthetic weld appearance similar to TIG welding, while maintaining the high productivity of the MIG/MAG process. This solution is particularly effective when welding aluminium and stainless steel, where limiting material overheating and controlling distortion are crucial for the final weld quality. Adjustment of pulse parameters, pulse frequency and base current allows the welding characteristics to be precisely adapted to the material type and technological requirements.

The machine offers advanced torch operation modes: 2T, 4T, S2T, S4T and SPOT. Classic 2T and 4T modes facilitate adaptation to short or long welds, while extended S2T and S4T modes allow control of the start and end of the process. This enables the operator to precisely manage arc ignition, starting current, final parameters and crater fill.

SPOT mode enables repeatable spot welds, improving precision when working on components requiring welding time control. Inductance adjustment allows the arc characteristics to be adapted to the material and welding position — from a softer arc to a more dynamic and concentrated one. In practice, this means better penetration control, reduced spatter and improved process stability.

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260DP also offers detailed welding process control. The operator can adjust parameters such as pre-gas and post-gas flow, Soft Start, arc start and end parameters and Burn Back, responsible for proper wire feed termination. The Slow Feed function ensures controlled wire feeding start, improving ignition stability and operator comfort.

Synergic programs

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse offers synergic programs for the most commonly used materials and applications. The machine supports welding of mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and self-shielded flux-cored wire. Thanks to the synergic function, the operator can start working faster and then fine-tune the parameters according to personal experience and specific joint requirements. It is a combination of automated settings with conscious process control.

XPro MIG 260 Dual pulse

Built-in 4-roll wire feeder

The machine is equipped with a built-in 4-roll wire feeder, ensuring stable and smooth wire feeding even when working with longer torches or more demanding welding wires. Stable wire feeding directly affects weld quality, working comfort and process repeatability.

The feeder is equipped with a practical inspection window and internal lighting, making it easier to monitor the spool, wire path and roller settings. Additionally, space for spare rollers keeps the most important accessories always within reach.

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse also supports a Spool Gun, significantly increasing comfort when working with soft aluminium wires.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse features high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), ensuring stable operation without interference in demanding industrial environments. The machine has been designed not to affect the operation of other machines and control systems while maintaining resistance to external interference. This ensures reliable operation in environments with automation systems, robots and modern production installations.

PFC technology – stable operation and higher power efficiency

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is equipped with a PFC (Power Factor Correction) system, which significantly improves energy efficiency and operational stability. Active power factor correction technology reduces energy losses, decreases electrical network load, and provides more stable welding parameters even when working with long extension cables or in locations with unstable power supply. In practice, PFC means:

  • greater resistance to voltage fluctuations,
  • more stable plasma arc,
  • lower power consumption from the mains,
  • better energy efficiency,
  • greater comfort when working in the field and with power generators.

This solution is particularly important for mobile users, installation teams, and workshops operating in demanding power supply conditions, where machine stability directly affects work quality and continuity.

20 memory channels – repeatability without wasting time

The machine offers 20 memory channels for saving custom welding parameter settings. This is a major advantage when working with repetitive components, different materials or recurring production tasks. The operator can save proven configurations and quickly recall them without having to reconfigure all parameters. The result is shorter setup time, lower risk of errors and higher process repeatability.

User comfort and clear LCD panel

A modern control panel with a clear LCD display provides quick access to the most important functions and parameters. The interface guides the user through the selection of process, material, wire diameter and additional settings, making operation intuitive even with the machine’s advanced capabilities.
During welding, key operating parameters are displayed on the screen, allowing the process to be monitored continuously and adjusted quickly according to the requirements of a specific task.

TIG Lift Pulse - advanced parameter control

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse is not limited only to MIG/MAG welding. TIG Lift mode enables precise TIG DC welding with touch arc ignition, without the use of HF high frequency. This is a practical solution wherever greater process control and high weld aesthetics are required.

However, the XPro MIG series takes TIG Lift capabilities a step further. The machine is equipped with an advanced TIG Lift Pulse function with pulse operation mode and access to extended welding process settings, including pulse frequency and pulse width adjustment. This solution allows even more precise control of the welding arc, heat input and weld characteristics, which will be particularly appreciated by users working with thinner materials or demanding components.

In addition to standard support for TIG torches with a gas valve, SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse also supports TIG torches equipped with torch control and EURO connector. This allows the operator to conveniently control the welding process without removing their hand from the torch, significantly improving comfort and ergonomics. Additionally, in this configuration, besides 2T and 4T modes, the machine also offers an 8T mode, enabling an extended torch control cycle. This solution improves operation during multi-stage welding processes and reduces the need to continuously hold the torch button, increasing operator comfort.

MMA Pulse and intelligent process control

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse offers an advanced MMA Pulse process, providing even greater control of the welding arc, improved stability and better adaptation of welding characteristics to working conditions and operator preferences. Additionally, the machine is equipped with functions supporting comfort and weld quality such as: Hot Start - facilitating electrode ignition,  Arc Force - stabilising the arc during welding,  VRD - increasing safety by reducing no-load voltage.

The XPro MIG series additionally offers two advanced MMA characteristic modes: constant current and constant power.

MMA Constant Current — stable and predictable arc
In MMA Constant Current mode, the machine maintains a stable welding current value regardless of changes in arc length or working conditions. This solution ensures high process stability, facilitates electrode handling and enables repeatable weld quality. Automatic maintenance of the set current value reduces the need for continuous parameter correction by the operator, improving comfort and simplifying welding process control.

MMA Constant Power — intelligent parameter adjustment
MMA Constant Power mode dynamically adjusts output voltage and current to maintain constant welding power. As a result, the machine automatically adapts operating characteristics to changes in arc length and process conditions. This solution increases welding stability, simplifies operation and allows faster adjustment of working parameters to different materials and welding positions. The operator sets the required power, and the machine automatically optimises the remaining process parameters.

Compact design and mobility

SPARTUS XPro MIG 260 Dual Pulse was designed for work wherever mobility, fast readiness and complete freedom of operation are essential. Thanks to its 230V power supply, the machine performs perfectly both in modern workshops and during installation, service and field work, offering advanced welding capabilities practically anywhere. The compact design makes transport and convenient movement between workstations easier while maintaining the functionality typical of much larger industrial welding machines. The ability to work with large wire spools improves usability, reduces the frequency of material replacement and maintains high efficiency even during intensive operation.

The machine operates as standard on stable feet, ensuring secure positioning during welding. A set of transport wheels is also included, which can be quickly installed to increase mobility and facilitate easy movement of the machine around the workshop or worksite.

An additional advantage of the machine is the intelligent cooling control system (Fan Stop), which activates the fan only when necessary. This results in quieter operation, reduced intake of contaminants and extended component lifetime.
