SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse is a modern inverter MIG/MAG welding machine designed for users who expect high performance, a stable arc and maximum control over the welding process. Three-phase 400V power supply, maximum welding current of 350A and 60% duty cycle provide an adequate power reserve for demanding workshop, production and assembly applications.

The machine supports MIG/MAG processes in manual, synergic, Pulse and Dual Pulse modes, as well as TIG Lift and MMA. As a result, the XPro MIG 350DP performs well both in conventional welding of structural steel and in more demanding applications involving stainless steel or aluminium, where arc energy control and weld aesthetics are crucial.

MIG/MAG welding – greater control, better weld quality

The main working area of the SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse is the advanced MIG/MAG process, designed for stable arc guidance, quick setup and high repeatability of results. The operator can work in manual mode, which provides full freedom of settings, or use synergic programs, which automatically select parameters according to the material type, wire diameter and shielding gas.

A key advantage of the machine is the ability to work in Pulse and Dual Pulse modes. Pulse technology allows precise control of the amount of energy introduced into the material, resulting in a more stable arc, reduced spatter and better weld pool control. Dual Pulse additionally makes it possible to achieve a characteristic, aesthetic weld structure resembling TIG welding, while maintaining the high efficiency of the MIG/MAG process. This solution is particularly effective when welding aluminium and stainless steel, where limiting material overheating and controlling distortion are crucial for the quality of the final result. Adjustment of pulse parameters, pulse frequency and base current allows the welding characteristics to be precisely matched to the material type and technological requirements.

The machine offers advanced torch operating modes: 2T, 4T, S2T, S4T and SPOT. Classic 2T and 4T modes make it easier to adapt operation to short or long welds, while the extended S2T and S4T modes allow control over the beginning and end of the process. This enables the operator to precisely manage arc ignition, starting current, final parameters and weld crater filling.

SPOT mode enables repeatable spot welds, increasing accuracy when working on components that require welding time control. Inductance adjustment allows the arc characteristics to be adapted to the material and welding position — from a softer arc to a more dynamic and concentrated one. In practice, this means better penetration control, reduced spatter and greater process stability.

The SPARTUS XPro MIG 350DP also offers detailed control over the welding sequence. The operator can adjust parameters such as pre-flow and post-flow gas, Soft Start, arc start and end parameters and Burn Back, which ensures proper completion of wire feeding. The Slow Feed function provides controlled wire feed start, improving ignition stability and working comfort.

Synergic programs

SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse offers synergic programs for the most commonly used materials and applications. The machine enables work with, among others, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and self-shielded flux-cored wire. Thanks to synergy, the operator can start work faster and then fine-tune the parameters according to their own experience and the requirements of a specific joint. It combines automated settings with conscious process control.

Stable wire feeding is crucial for MIG/MAG welding quality. SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse is equipped with a built-in four-roll wire feeder, which ensures smooth and even feeding of the filler material.

The feeder is located inside the housing and features a practical inspection window and internal lighting, making it easier to check the spool, wire routing and roller settings. This is particularly useful during wire replacement, work in poorly lit areas and quick workstation checks before welding. In addition, the space for spare rollers in the feeder provides convenient access to the most commonly used accessories without the need to organise additional workspace.

The machine is also compatible with a Spool Gun, which increases the possibilities of working with soft wires, especially aluminium. This solution improves feeding stability and reduces problems resulting from guiding soft wire over a longer distance.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) 

SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse is characterised by high electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), ensuring stable operation without interference in demanding industrial environments. The machine has been designed so as not to affect the operation of other machines and control systems, while maintaining resistance to external interference. This ensures reliable operation in environments with automation systems, robots and modern production installations.

20 memory channels – repeatability without wasting time

The machine offers 20 memory channels, allowing users to save their own welding parameter settings. This is a major advantage when working with repeatable components, different materials or fixed production tasks. TIG Lift Pulse - advanced parameter control

SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse is not limited to MIG/MAG welding only. TIG Lift mode enables precise TIG DC welding with touch arc ignition, without the use of high-frequency HF. It is a practical solution wherever greater process control and high weld aesthetics are important.

However, the XPro MIG series takes TIG Lift capabilities one step further. The machine is equipped with an advanced TIG Lift Pulse function with pulse mode operation and access to extended welding process sequence settings, including pulse frequency and pulse width adjustment. This solution allows even more precise control of the welding arc, heat input and weld characteristics, which will be particularly appreciated by users working with thinner materials or demanding details.

 

In addition to standard support for TIG torches with a valve, SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse also enables operation with TIG torches equipped with handle control and a EURO connector. This allows the operator to conveniently control the welding process without taking their hand off the torch, significantly increasing working comfort and ergonomics. In this option, in addition to 2T and 4T modes, the machine also offers 8T mode, enabling an extended torch control cycle. This solution improves the operation of a multi-stage welding process and reduces the need to continuously hold the torch button, increasing operator comfort.

 

MMA Pulse and intelligent process control

SPARTUS XPro MIG 350 Dual Pulse offers an advanced MMA Pulse process, providing even greater control over the welding arc, stable operation and better adjustment of welding characteristics to working conditions and operator preferences. In addition, the machine is equipped with functions that support working comfort and quality, such as: Hot Start - which makes electrode ignition easier,  Arc Force - which stabilises the arc during welding, and  VRD - which increases safety by reducing open-circuit voltage.

The XPro MIG series additionally offers two advanced MMA characteristic modes: constant current and constant power.

MMA Constant Current — stable and predictable arc
In MMA Constant Current mode, the machine maintains a stable welding current value regardless of changes in arc length or working conditions. This solution ensures high process stability, makes electrode handling easier and allows repeatable weld quality to be achieved. Automatic maintenance of the set current value reduces the need for continuous parameter correction by the operator, increasing working comfort and making it easier to control the welding process.

MMA Constant Power — intelligent parameter adjustment
MMA Constant Power mode dynamically regulates output voltage and current to maintain constant welding power. As a result, the machine automatically adjusts its operating characteristics to changes in arc length and process conditions. This solution increases welding stability, simplifies operation and allows working parameters to be adapted more quickly to different materials and welding positions. The operator sets the expected power, and the machine automatically optimises the remaining process parameters.
